I made an off-handed reference to a villain being cool in a Darth Vader or Wicked Witch of the West sort of way. I just realized that there is more temporal distance between now and the first Star Wars movie than there is between Star Wars and The Wizard of Oz.

1939 to 1977 = 38 years
1977 to 2023 = 46 years

I didn't realize Star Wars was that old.

The one that always kind of makes me pause is:

The Great Pyramid of Giza was constructed in 2570 BC, in the golden time of Egypt. The so called Fourth Dynasty of Egypt.

Cleopatra was Queen of the Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt from 51 to 30 BC, and its last active ruler.

This means, the events/life of Cleopatra are closer to our present time, than the Pyramid being built was to her time.
