Like.. what's wrong with the release order? :v Didn't they release the episodes in the order they did for a reason? There's all these spreadsheets telling you different orders you should watch them in and I don't get it

If the networks can screw up the masterpiece that is Babylon 5, then they can definitely get the broadcast dates for some Star Wars cartoon wrong.

Networks rarely care if the order they release a show makes sense from a plot standpoint. They especially don't care if that show is a cartoon.

In the case of Clone Wars I imagine there were a number of times that Cartoon Network aired an episode based on the amount of action that took place in it rather than where it belonged chronologically.

Mostly it's because they initially skip around fairly randomly. Then go back and fill in gaps for certain characters before in the last 3 seasons turn into a single ongoing narrative.

I'd guess these sheets are things like putting Domino squads story back in linear order, or it's certain threads to follow certain characters arcs.

As i understand it, its because the show at first didnt air episodes chronologically.

So events that take place in a later episode, occur, before a previous episode.

Thats not something for everyone, and could make things hard to follow.

Having a chronological order helps with that. Im not aware of anyone demanding certain watch orders, but i do know they exist, from when i watched it a few years ago, and did a bit of research.
