Yeah, true. What was meant to be a scathing review of the industrial military complex instead turned into 1950s Americana with nuclear fission and shiny metal asses.

I'm just amazed they resisted the urge to somehow retcon the Brotherhood of Steel into this billboard.

I have absolutely nothing to go by on this nor any good reason to, but I just have a bad feeling about this show.

The good news: the sets and costumes are some of the most accurate 1:1 game-to-tv translations I've ever seen.

The bad news: the games they're pulling from are Fallout 4 / '76.

That could potentially be good if was an intended criticism of capitalism and using AI over real people but... it's probably just them legit doing the thing that should be being criticised.

The only one that stands out to me is the rear headlights

Reminder that despite Caesar's Legion being wrong about nearly everything, Caesar is 100% on the money with his description of the Brotherhood and not only does it match closely to that of House's outlook on the Brotherhood, the ending slides show that both House and Caesar are correct if you allow the brotherhood to persist.

Never understood the love for them. Outside the Fallout 3 era east coast version, they're just raiders with better tech.

Pretty much.

To Fallout 4's credit, Bethesda learned a few lessons from Fallout 3; one in particular was their handling of the Brotherhood of Steel, and 4 gave them back enough moral grayness that they're arguably the true villains of the story. So hopefully that'll translate over the tv show when the BoS shows up (and the BoS will undoubtedly show up in the tv show; to Bethesda's shallower interpretation of the franchise, they're the indelible marketable face of it).
