Ignore your guns. Assault Boost to the cockpit > hit it with the sword (double tap LB / L1 for two slashes) > fall to the ground to recover boost. Repeat until its dead.

If you don't care about multiplayer just go to the install folder, add .bak to the start_protected_game.exe, then copy armoredcore6.exe, paste it right back into the folder and rename that copy to start_protected_game.exe. No more EAS fuckery.

Sword is definitely the way to go, but I also found two linear shoulder guns and the hand held version of them vastly decrease the time to kill.

I meant in the first encounter when you dont have anything else. The ones you start the game with do fuck all to him.

This isn't a Souls game, you need to be prepared to change up your load out to meet the needs of whatever mission you're doing. You don't just build a mech and then just power up and polish that one specific play style throughout the game.

Doesn't sound like you can brute force it with your preferred playstyle. You gotta pick what the situation calls for

Ok, the chapter two boss was substantially easier then the chapter one boss. Quad leg hover allows you to avoid it's more deadly attacks besides it's charge laser. jvln alpha in main hand, songbirds on both shoulders, and the pilebunker as offhand. a full volley of jvln>songbird>songbird is enough to stagger it then you feed it a charged bunker. at stage two you need to add a second jvln hit to the end of the sequence to stagger.
