Everything is politics. Not sure how far back you're referencing.

It used to be just a bigger Poll of the Day but then the Politics board was dissolved and you know where they migrated to.

Once politics board closed the easily trolled became even more rabid. They act like this board is a warzone and if they dont pounce with the same 3 memes the world will explode.

There are even users here who act like no one ever posted here and other boards. Every topic usually gets turned into an insult-a-thon by people desperate to post the next Blank is suspended thread.

The great thing about CE is every see's each others' bullshit and no one is safe as they think they are.

Yes a lot of people come here to project their bitterness and misery while acting like they're some kinda righteous hero. A lot of narcissism as well where people get tripped up if their god-like opinion is challenged.

i think the board is slowly declining. a lot of the good posters have left but it seems like most of the toxic ones remain.

It's funny how everyone here does their best to shit-talk each other, while there are a ton of special-interest boards with homies just straight vibin'. Enjoying discussing such and such thing that they're into...be it a game or a sport or movies or whatever.

CE isn't really the best representation of GFAQs discussions. There are a lot of cool conversations that go on, on this site.

Besides being much slower? Not at all.

It should be more obvious to older accounts that we've all been doing more or less the same thing in the same way for way, way too long.
