Only people they've not showcased yet are Jax and Sonya. Guess they'll be in the last trailer.

They've done a good job hyping it through the Summer though.

Saw it earlier.. been loving how it basically re-introduces all the loved character and the interactions between all of them seems incredibly cinematic this time around

like Endgame levels of hype in a way but without having to go to the theatres >_>

Is there a story explanation for kameos like they're a glitch in the matrix I mean timeline or are they just not actually canon to the story?

Things I like about the reboot

-Lu Kang and Raiden role reversal
-Kung lao being put in the spotlight and cheezing hilariously against the Lin Kuei
-tarkatan being a disease

Things I don't like/really bug me

-Scorpion being Subzero's brother. I don't see any benefit or redemption to this, but I guess we'll have to wait and see
-lightweight Smoke and lin kuei being assholes
-kronika back?

I think this looks really intriguing and should be a great breath of fresh air, but I'm a bit concerned this will be the new timeline going forward. I almost wish they'd split the series into two entries and continue the two universes separately.

Also I love the new reptile. He's like an actual character now.

I REALLY hope they make at least a few of the current Kameos playable. That side of the roster is much more interesting-looking imo
