I watched it about halfway through last year for the 4th or so time. I find it wildly disinterest and equally pretentious. It's just not a show for me. Which is fine imo. I start to think of it worse when I'm told I don't like it strictly because I'm an idiot. Edit: We started watched Sailor Moon a couple weeks ago. The music is great, but the show itself is definitively okay. I'm not the demographic at all, so watching it from that perspective helps a lot. It's the authors decision to stop any fight when Shinji passed out. A fight could be picking up speed and starts to get really good and all of a sudden it cuts to the next day.
