Shoot, the average person, even if they're kind of dumb, would probably do some good shit if put in office. Anyone with half a heart, even if they only have half a brain, would probably severely reduce military spending and institute universal healthcare.

Obama probably tried (he sort of made the healthcare thing happen, at least a little bit). Maybe guys like Carter and Obama just get stymied by the powers they have to answer to, and John Doe would face the same, and I'm just being naive and ignorant. Idk. Would probably be fun to test such a thing out, though.

Just throw an average dude who's like nice and cares about people in the office. Like I said though, that's basically what dudes like Carter and Obama were.....albeit much more intelligent than the average person, Particularly in Barack's case.

But maybe being an idiot would be useful. If it helped them have unbridled confidence. Just whipping their power around and making the common sense decisions that we all want a president to make.

It's also exposed so much hypocrisy, and how both sides are just willing to go along with it as long as their sports team, er, politician/side wins.

It's a sad state of affairs really. I don't see it getting any better either.

I'm really not angry though. I mean if that makes your day better than you can pretend that. I would love to talk to some of you in person to see what kind of people you are because you seem overly hostile.

The problem I think is how you worded it. Your initial statement was this board loves to shit on Trump. Not youll find no Trump supporters here.

Nine times out of ten the former is coming from a bitter suspended/banned Trumper on their 57th alt calling the board an echo chamber. Even if you didnt mean that, I believe thats how its being interpreted.

Whether that interpretation is accurate or not, I dont know.

Poor Trump cultists getting their feelings hurt because they are too deeply invested in the sunk cost of following a con-man, rapist, treasonous criminal that they liked because he dog whistles their racist and misogynist beliefs and validated their "edgy" outsider fantasy.

Nah, it's just the majority of the U.S. population. Most citizens are ignorant of civics and politics to a detrimentally perilous level, even though it affects literally every aspect of living within a society and thus their life.

Political ignorance is like the only thing I can think of where people seem to come off at times as boasting about how ignorant and uncaring they are over something so important.
