On the extremely unlikely chance he ever sets foot in a prison, yeah it would be something like that. it doesn't have to be that way, but most likely it would (again even assuming he got jail time) If the State had balls, they could just say NO! The federal government is required to provide former presidents with Secret Service protection, but the State has no obligation to allow federal agents unfettered access to their facilities. The prison could say Secret Service can set up shop at the Motel 6 down the rode, and see Trump during visiting hours like every other person who wants to check on a felon.
