Infact you talking about burden of proof should know they would say things were weather balloons back in the day that were not infact weather balloons. Now the shift means they cannot just write such sightings off with ease but have to now explain for example and prove it was a weather balloon.

If someone is saying hey, we need full disclosure to get to the bottom of this and then the other goes no you can turn around and tell the first person they cant prove it, sure. But the first step should be getting the disclosure and then see if the person can prove it.

It is okay to say "I don't know" or "I don't have enough evidence to make a judgement call" - that's where I stand on the UFO/UAP phenomenon. It's not that I'm rejecting the possibility, it's that I need evidence before I claim to know something.

This entire thing is about trying to get credible evidence.

The entire point of these hearings is to get evidence we know for a fact that government agencies have been collecting for years.

There have been stirrings of this for well over a decade at this point, and when senators ask for these details they get shut down, hence the claims from within the legislature of lack of oversight.

The arguments in these threads are just plain stupid, both the truthers and the people pissed at them should want the evidence released.
