I didn't even remember an Ys title coming to the Genesis! It did come to multiple different consoles and devices so I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people got the chance to play it, Genesis or not.

I'm not the biggest fan of the series, it's just not one I really got into. I think I played one on the PS2 at some point? I remember being annoyed with the crafting system in whichever game it was and how unintuitive it was. I thing? LOL

Nintendo pronounced it Whys even after Sega went into a long spiel about it being pronounced yeese like geese.

I haven't played any of these except for a very short amount of Origins.

It's a series that I never got into. I know I played Books I & II briefly, but that's my entire experience. Newer ones look like Tales games maybe? I hear good things about them

Man I missed the X topic. Surprised you did X-men 1 instead of 2. Most people seem to prefer 2. While it looks great, I don't think the gameplay is that fun compared to 1.
