Like meal I normal get for 8 dollars is like 12 when I order via door dash. Before all the stuff that door dash adds. Does anyone know what this is for ?

Thanks yall, I that just seems backwards. Doordash should want them be on the site. They charge fees, then take some off the top from the store.

Stores raise the price of their items displayed on doordash. Then charge a delivery fee. While Doordash charges its own fees. Also, you have taxes on top of that

DoorDash is for profit. They bring in additional business for the restaurant, especially for Mom and Pop joints that don't have the reputation/reach of other brands. DoorDash helps get them business, and then takes a cut from them. With more restaurants on DoorDash, the pressure is on those businesses to be on DoorDash to compete
