• Elon Musk will buy 90% of websites and companies. Youtube? Wikipedia? Facebook? Discord? Mcdonalds? Disney? Microsoft? Nintendo? Sony? All bought by Musk.
• American Right Wing politicians will keep a permanent grip onto the country.
• American democrats will disappear entirely.
• Every single website will be pay to use.
• Every single video game, including games made 30-40 years ago will be locked behind a subscription.
• Minimum wage will not even be able to cover a weeks worth of meals.
• Worldwide will be nothing but war and death.
• Worldwide you will be arrested for merely looking at porn.
• You will be monitored 24/7 by secret agents in your country for every little thing.
• Simple cold medicine will be 10-20 dollars.
• Those with health issues will be forced to work. The retired and elderly will be forced to work
• Critcizing the government will also be arrest worthy.

This is the most realistic, likely outlook on how the real world will go.

Future: the barest of websites remain. Only ad choked Apps work any more. Yt is a front page with just thumbnails, and kicks you to the app, which always prompts for payment

Highly doubtful that every game will need a subscription.
Because that would mean for the developers to continuously support the game for x amount of time. Most developers just want to develop 1 game and move on to the next project... Or maybe if they do support it drop a DLC at some point.

But it's because of that reason alone, I highly doubt devs will force subscriptions on all their future games...
Too much to $$$ invest in, it's a big gamble for them in the long run because the game itself might not be popular thus the community will be small and so will the profits earned from the subscription. Which would lead to many developers questioning why even put up a subscription if the profits were not gonna be big or that they had no further plans to support the game thus leading to many people canceling or refunding their subscription

This. Musk has a high net worth, but he can't even afford to buy Facebook, let alone Microsoft or YouTube (owned by Google).
