Do you think it has to do with life coming from non life?

what I mean is there is no real way to determine how we,as humans, are here at all
the accepted theory is abiogenesis

so that leads me to ponder why is it that some of us think life seems fake

I did your exact thing 10 years ago. My sister had passed away. Really couldnt handle her the bad stuff that happened to her. It hit me hard we really didn't spend alot of time together since I left home. Anyway, to deal with it I read up on the Simulation Argument. Some of it made sense but later with some logic i figured it was impossible. In the middle of all that I drifted away from religion. It was very similar I gave it a lot of thought and cut ties with God. With the deaths of both of my friends in the last 3 years I've drifted even further. My 2nd friend begged me to come back and I said with time I might. I think she hoped to see me again. I think you will go through it and have to decide for your self

If you used every atom in the universe to build a device to simulate a universe, even using the best possible engineering imaginable, your device wouldn't have enough processing to simulate at a 1:1 ratio.

You'd have to pull some trickery like having really large scales behave differently to how really small scales act, or not store the exact properties of particles if they aren't being observed.
