Current Events > Anyone still into Pokemon Cards?

I want to re-collect some of the original Pokemon cards I used to have, but in doing some research I saw that there is a new Scarlet & Violet 151 set that is coming out next month that will have new designs for the original 151.

Anyone know if these are going to be valuable? Thinking about buying a bunch and holding on to them for a while and letting the value increase if possible

Yeah, i play occasionally irl (Pre-Release events mostly) and online every day. I've had cards since Base Set. The new set will prolly be valuable. Original 151 are popular (looking at you Charizard) and it's a special set and those end up usually rarer/limited ways to get the cards.

Not really into it anymore but Im not going to lie. I would totally want the original 151 cards. Ill have to look into that.

I'm really tempted to just buy a shit ton of boxes of booster packs and just holding onto them (and also maybe breaking into some for my own collection)

I bought an unopened Fossil booster pack from ebay and am afraid to open it. I really wish I didn't throw out all my Pokemon cards when I was a kid >_>
