The Help center is anything but. Of course, no way to contact them by phone. They say there's a live chat option, but hitting "submit" did nothing for me. I have to resort to email. My interactions thus far (in order of emails received):
  1. Hi, please verify your email address, EA username, and platform (I will point out here that these are all required fields when opening a ticket)
  2. Thanks, we sent you a code in email, please reply back with that code
  3. Please send us proof of the issue. (I had attached a video of my issue with the original ticket)
  4. Hi, please verify your email address, EA username, and platform
  5. Please try this in Steam settings
  6. Hi, please verify your email address, EA username, and platform
Every email is from a different person, so no one person has been assigned to my case. I imagine that's the reason for all the resets. Another could be that my account shows 4 open cases. I only opened one case, they're treating each new response by them as a new case.
Sorry, had to vent. I'm sure most people knew this already.

I've only dealt with EAs customer support once. My Origin account was stolen by someone in Russia. They had it sorted out within half an hour of contacting them, and made it very easy to do so.

Of course, this was like 10 years ago. Plenty of time for it to go downhill.

i had a preregistered SWTOR account with all the perks that came with it ("founder" bonuses etc)

i quit for a few years, and when i came back they had transitioned to a free to play model. you had the option of subscribing or unlocking account features with premium currency (cartel coins). i figured id just buy the few features i cared about and not bother subscribing.

you had to buy cartel coins through their website at the time, so i went and purchased a set. the site hit an error, and my card got double charged. my bank blocked the transaction as suspicious. ea responded by banning my swtor and origin accounts lol, and no amount of contacting customer service would help

I would love not to, but I don't get to choose what they publish.
