masterpug53 08/16/23 4:03:16 PM #5:	It's okay-to-good. A solid kids movie. Didn't quite have the charm / heart of the Sonic movies (shocking thing for a Ninty fanboy to admit). Still, the live-action SMB movie left me genuinely depressed as a kid, so the new one is at least a huge and welcome step up from that. --- Simple questions deserve long-winded answers that no one will bother to read. <cite>masterpug53 posted [p:975489122] in Now that t... I particularly liked that they used some music from newer games like Galaxy, as I figured it could wind up leaning too hard on the original SMB. But it lacks a bit of heart due to how quickly it moves through everything. Next time I hope it slows down and takes the time to actually develop Mario's relationship with these characters so it means a bit more.
