I ended up choosing Lunar SSSC. I was heavily into that type of game and the boxart caught my attention. I knew nothing about the game. It was a blind purchase. The game only came in a limited collectors edition that came with a soundtrack CD, a hardcover instruction manual and the cloth map. What a great buy that was. Ended up absolutely loving the game and being blown away by the soundtrack. Very fond memories of that time. Thought the game looked really colorful, and I loved 2D high res sprites, which was rare at the time thanks to the 3D boom. Eventually found a used copy at Gamestop around 2004 or so. Still had the ost CD in it too, which I still have. Man that game is an experience. I also love the WD translation, even if it is t accurate. See, as an apology for delaying the game, Working Designs gave every pre-order a demo disc of the first chapter of the game and your save will work in the full game. The game's inventory system was limited in that each character can hold a few items and you can only use items equpped on you during battle. So I moved Alex's ocarina to Nall since you can't use the ocarina in battle and it didn't have a real use. I continued in the full game, beat the final bss and was told I needed to have Alex use the ocarina. I couldn't because I gave it to Nall in the demo but in the full game you were never supposed to be able to move the ocarina. So I couldn't give it back to Alex!
