my first attempt ended in failure and i had to restart from the beginning cause i lost both cyan and sabin before the waterfall section just before the veldt so i has no one i could use there.
this time im doing a lot better im about to learn terra's backstory and get her back but i have had some casualties i lost shadow on the ghost train i lost cyan and gau in zozo to the dancer lady enemy who can cast second tier spells and i lost setzer in the very first fight he was in. that was my fault. i forgot that one of the 2 cranes isnt hurt by lightning and gets stronger when hit with it. --- yusketeer ... Make sure to release Celes when she faints. if celes dies at any point in the games first half its a run killer and i have to start over cause she has that solo section at the start of the world of balance so since i treat her death as a perma death i cant do anything at that point --- yusketeer ... Why would you do this to yourself? for fun last time i played FF5 for example i did the 4 job fiesta challenge run and got a terrible team had to play through FF5 with a thief, beast master, time mage, and dancer the team had no synergy with each other and the dancer was my main source of consistent damage --- yusketeer ... Tenlaar posted... Is this essentially just a permadeath run or are you doing other rules? just a permadeath run but if i ever reach a point where its impossible to play a certain part because every mandatory party member for that section is dead i have to start over from scratch but its not like there is a gun to my head and if i get to frustrated i can quit whenever i want. i already successfully did a shion solo run through the whole xenosaga trilogy like 17 years ago. i can use that as bragging rights for decades to come so i can safely bail on any challenge run i fail at one too many times ::P i actually do plan to do a FFX no sphere grid run next time i play FFX but i dont think for a minute ill actually be able to see it through im more or less just seeing how far i can make it before i give up in frustration --- yusketeer ... im honestly not investing too much time into this though
im playing the pixel remaster on my switch and turning it on when im in the bathroom or somewhere else waiting for something to be done the main game im currently playing and investing most of my gaming time into is DQ8 3DS version --- yusketeer ... Copied to Clipboard!
