Let me preface by saying that I am a guy in my 30s and she is probably 20. Last semester she was in one my classes and we often exchanged friendly banter. We would talk about the class assignments and all was good until she started asking for my homework towards the end of the semester. Then I sort of got mad as I felt manipulated, told her she needed to take accountability for her work, and pretty much ghosted her (I didn't have to take my final so I didn't have to see her).

Now she's in my new class. Sitting TWO SEATS IN FRONT. Wtf do I do? I figuratively told this girl that she was a scumbag. I'm pretty sure she noticed me as we exchanged glances. But she didn't smile nor acknowledge me so I did exactly the same. Do I just go on about this semester as if she didn't exist? Sure, I could walk up to her and apologize, but considering I'm much older, I feel like it might be seen as inappropriate. Besides, what if she really hates me? I would only make her feel uncomfortable by approaching her. I should pretend like she doesn't exist right?

I really hate the social ****** aspect of college. I wish every student had a cubicle so we wouldn't see each other's faces.

Unless she's your lab partner, no need to acknowledge this person. Even then, if it happens, just ask for a new partner. "Personal differences", if anyone needs to know.

Keep a distance, but lower your head and stomp your foot in an aggressive manner, so that she realizes that, as the eldest, this is your territory, and she must respect that unless she decides to take it by force.

So when you see this person sitting in her seat....walk away from where she is sitting and then sit in that seat.

How about this tactic: I casually walk up to her and ask if she got an A, like "please tell me you got an A for last class?" Then I'll see her reaction and if she playfully says yes like she's relieved, then I'll continue on with the convo like our prior dispute never happened. However if she seems angry or disgusted, I don't know how I would respond after asking if she got an A?
