A new distribution has begun in Pokmon Scarlet & Violet. This distribution is given in the World Championships stream and gives all players a Gastrodon based upon the the Gastrodon used by the 2022 World Champion last year.
It is obtained with the code 23WCSGASTR0D0N and runs until August 14th 2023 at 23:59 UTC so get it while you can

During the Pokmon Presents, a new distribution began. This distribution gives players a MEw with a Random Tera Type and moves to match its Tera Type. This runs until September 17th and is obtainable with the code GETY0URMEW

One final event exclusive to JPN...

Japan: August 11th 2023 - August 13th
At the Pokmon World Championships in Yokohama, 2023, you will get a special code to obtain a Tatsugiri with the move Celebrate.

Just letting you know this was not Japan exclusive. Last week there was a distribution on the Pokemon Worlds website exclusive to PTC accounts in the USA region where the first 10,000 people to fill out a fantasy team would receive a Tatsugiri code. Codes ran out in less than 24 hours. I got 11 codes myself, used all of them already.

If you ignore the fact that the events ate by far more easily obtained versus whatever they were doing during the first two gens.

I got the Grimmsnarl, don't remember if I got the Charizard. I think so, but I'll double check when I get home, thanks for the reminder!

Of course what we can download now is way better than nothing, but its so disappointing that there are so many events we miss out on. Forget trying to trade online for those region exclusive ones, traders always want 2-3 pkmn in exchange for one :/

I got my Mew on Tuesday and I'm putting all the ribbons/marks on it I can before the event starts. I'm almost done, just need the day of the week ribbons and rich ribbons in Brilliant Diamond.

Dark Charizard event is still going on until the end of this month.

In Red and Blue you could perform a moderately easy glitch to encounter one and catch it. Only time I ever had one

So I put in the code for all 3 available in the US mentioned in this topic, and it seemed to work, but none of them are in my boxes. What gives?

They should automatically appear in the first open space you have in a box.

If you have free space in your party, it puts the Pokemon in the party first, then checks the boxes starting from box 1 for free space and puts it in the first free space it finds. You can also use the search function to try and find it.

My party is full. I used the search function for M, C, and G and neither one is anywhere to be found.

When I go to "Check Mystery Gifts," it says I got all 3 of them...

But I don't got them, lol

Oh wait, I see Charizard... not sure why it doesn't show up when I search for C... Let me look closer in the boxes, then

As far as I know normal moves

Was I only supposed to do them one at a time or something? Unless I'm missing them entirely, it seems like Charizard is the only one I actually got and that's the one I did last.

Oh wait, I think I see Gastrodon... I thought it was just a normal one and it says it was met via a fateful encounter when it was level 50 and the date is today...

Mew has got to be in there somewhere, then...

Mine has a poison tera type. From what I remember, the tera type only shows up when you use the tera form in battle, but it doesn't make the pokemon look any different outside of that.

I think you can only use the search function in boxes if the Pokemon is in the regional dex. Mew isn't in the Paldea dex, so you can't search at this point.
