I'm about to drop some David Carradine knowledge on you. Just because you and your spouse sleep in separate beds that doesn't mean you don't love one another. You just value your time together so much that you want to be the best you that you can be when you are together. And that all starts with a good nights sleep. Because when you don't sleep properly, then your grumpy, frustrated and annoying to one another.

I'm seeing this one chick right now that fidgets and kicks when she's sleeping. While its cute when I'm awake, its fucking annoying when I'm sleeping. So we've come to a compromise. Sleep separately, but that doesn't stop us from being romantic.

But when you do get a good nights sleep, that's one less obstacle eliminated.

I have no issue with this. It's a tough selling point for some people.

I got on board with it recently after seeing a tiny home video of an older couple. Here's the video. It gave them their own separate space that they could decorate their own way, and gave themselves separate sleeping quarters so they wouldn't wake the other up if they had to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.
