Not only for selling out to Disney which has some godawful practices itself, but with any horrible/ wrong practices that were, are, or would have been in place back when he owned the IP. If someone is making clothes, toys, etc from your intellectual properties, the moral obligations for making sure this is done in a strictly ethical manner is at the absolute least, partially on the owner of said properties. If, as the owner of the property, you are not making sure that the companies under you, or otherwise making products for are not doing so morally or ethically then you are at fault as that power lies solely with you. No one else can properly police who is allowed to do what with your property. The owner should be doing their utmost to make absolute sure that their toys are not being produced by child labor, slave labor, and other similar exploitative working conditions. Put that in every contract and constantly verify it personally, or at the least, hire people to do this for you. This is not even mentioning things like his sale to Disney who is abhorrent themselves, the taxes he does or doesn't pay personally, and so on. The immoral issues that naturally come with being able to accrue that much wealth for one person. Once you are a billionaire, you are a bad person.
