The PS5 has a history of bizarre problems that other consoles don't seem to suffer from, including randomly deleting user save data, randomly uninstalling games, corrupting its own harddrive when entering rest mode, and overheating during cutscenes and shutting down. Now we add "melting usb ports" to the list. This isn't something you'd run into with normal everyday use. I didn't even get a chance to make a second post in the other topic before it got modded lol Even if it is an unusual situation with how long they were running for, EVO has been going for a long time and to my knowledge, this has not happened in the past.
