AW1 Max is so fucking broken. You can literally bulldoze anything with just tanks, MD tanks, anti-airs, and Bombers. The only way my friend was able to beat me was when he used either Nell or Sturm. I got S ranks in almost all of the War Rooms I unlocked so far.

If you played the gameboy games, it's basically almost identical with some balance changes. It's funny because the voices they give some of the characters contradict the headcannons I had for them when I was younger lol.

But sucks what happened to the game. If it's anything, it's not a must play game to have and most likely might get a discount down the line (whenever a Nintendo discount ever happens).

i beat the 2 DS games but when they came out. tried to go back to AW1 back then but was burnt out on the series by then so barely got anywhere.

preordered bootcamp before the delay. beat the 1st game and like half of the 2nd one and yea AW1 max is broken and my favorite to play as. simple but powerful. still hate fog of war as much as ever.
