I've been doing these for years. I'm currently on day 14 of 24.

There's a guy next to my bed who reacts to videos he watches the same way ever time.

He'll say, "wait what yooo no what" or "I'm screaming"

He's 22 so maybe that's what young people say now?

Does it have to do with one of the following?:
-solid unwanted masses in the body
-auto-immune disorders
-the fact that THAT song is STILL stuck in your head and this is the last hope before you go actually insane.

I have no idea what the song you're thinking of is. It's for the study and treatment of ALS in healthy participants. It's a drug interaction study so the first day I took the study drug and then I took a caffeine pill, bupropion, flurbiprofen, omeprazole, midazolam, and fexofenadine. The midazolam was a liquid and that was disgusting

I was once a Guinea pig for a a/the clinical trial of Adderall in timed-release patch form, back around '06-'07 and hooooBOI lemme tell ya does $75 a week do a helluva lot in the 7th grade....the early exposure and resultant affinity for amphetamines and stimulants of any derivative.....ehhhh maybe not the best side effect of adolescent neurochemical skullfuckery, maybe the lab should thought of that and not allowed pubescent youth be viable candidates, but hey....here we are

I guess if it's just taking a bunch of established meds at once, that isn't bad.
My body is used to handling pills and supplements by the handful, it's basically my superpower.

Of the things you listed, i know omeprazole makes me have dark stool, and I cannot orgasm on bupropion.

Did that midozolam fuck you up?

So... were you not already on, or potentially going to be put on, some form of stimulant like adderall or ritilin or so forth at the time? Just wondering, since it seems odd you'd have been put on a study like that if your guardians and whatever doctor/psychologist they were taking you to didn't agree on trying one of them out. Or if you weren't already on something, and one or both of the above were hesitant to try the normal form of the substance, but the first substance was having bad ticks or side effects so "why not test it out since they are still young" or some such.

The only thing I think messed me up a little is I got loose stools for 24 hours and I was anxious, but I think that was from a combination of those drugs and the caffeine pill. I've been dosing on just the ALS study drug every day since then with no side effects at all. Only thing that sucks if we don't get breakfast because they want us to stay in bed for 4 hours post dose with wheelchair escort for the bathroom. We got to deal with that all the way up till 2 days before we leave.

All the years I've been doing these the worst part is usually the room you have to share with other people. Lot's of different personalities I'll just say.

Really considering doing one in Australia because I'm a broke bitch.

Sounds about right for what I'm doing. I wouldn't say untaxed though. Like over here in the US you have to file them on your taxes during tax season. For example if I make $25k doing CTs I will owe like $5k. Basically I'll do these all year long and then do one before tax season to pay that off. I bought a nice gaming laptop and that's how I keep myself busy here. I mainly do these for paying off debts and for vacations. I'll be in Europe next month because of these.

I only do the healthy participant ones. I don't know which website you're looking at. I know all the local ones near me and through word of mouth the ones in other states people go to.
