Physical therapist said I had it in my left shoulder and I started doing rehab in December of last year. I could barely lift my arm up laterally at that point, but after a few months of weekly rehab I was able to lift it without pain and bench press a 15lb dumbbell. I am now benching 50lb dumbbells in a neutral grip with minor discomfort but I can't do much else involving my shoulder without a lot of pain or just weakness.
I do all the exercises I was prescribed and I worked up slowly to where I am at with bench press, avoiding barbell bench and overhead press completely as per my PT's instruction, but it still hurts and I'm still so much weaker than I was before this all started. There's noticeably less muscle mass in my left pec area than in my right and the pain isn't constant but if I do anything the wrong way it flares up. Anyone get diagnosed with this and get past it to how they felt before, or is it going to be like this forever? --- Copiers knew this ... Copied to Clipboard!
