Devil May Cry (DmC)

the gameplay itself wasnt bad. But the retelling of the story was. New Dante was awful and was designed after a narcissistic project manager. The sad thing is that they couldve used the gameplay and engine to make Devil May Cry 4 as a continuation but they felt they needed to do this awful reboot.

Honestly, I liked the idea that Dante and Vergil were half angel, half demon. I wish they leaned into that more. But yeah, the story itself wasn't great

Windows ME

Dungeon Keeper.
Turning it into a mobile game was bad. Making it a cashgrab where you had to throw money at it if you wanted to play it made it so much worse.

Bomberman: Act Zero.
The grimdark setting was trying too hard. Which would have been acceptable if it had had good gameplay. It didnt.

SimCity 2013.
The basic game was good. The Always Online DRM caused so many problems so it ruined the game.

Alone in the dark.
Glitchy, too much combat, ruined everything that made the original so good.

i liked DmC. the only downsides really is that dante and vergil are ugly.

Jenkies, my answer could at least be second worst. Ironically, her best reboot was 'Mystery Incorporated'.

Futurama is sometimes one of those things people wish didn't get the reboot. Usually for reasons of the new stuff not being as good as the old ones, or ruining the plots of old episodes.

How come in the re-release of DmC they took Virgil's fedora away?
And how come when they gave him his own DLC he didn't have his sniper rifle?

Without hesitation, I regard the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street as the worst of the worst. It had one good line of dialogue in the entire movie -- "Why are you crying? I haven't even cut you yet." -- and it was a systematic downgrade to everything in the original.

I do not acknowledge the existence of those utterly pathetic Star Trek reboot movies.

I have never watched them and never will.

When they rebooted a new hope in whatever stars wars 7 was.

The first thing that came to mind was Teen Titans Go.

Also, I don't know if it ever saw the light of day, but there was a similar style of show featuring the Thundercats called Thundercats Roar, and it looked downright awful and disgraceful.

It did and was canned only 9 months after the first episode premiered.

That's 9 months longer than I would've expected...
