Seems like the same camp my aunt and uncle are in, with their excusing his corruption. It's like they're all in the bargaining stage of grief at this point. They've got a long way to go...

Vote for him, definitely. Probably some who would "approve" of him. But strong supporters? No, not unless you count the second cousin/once removed level which I almost never see. Mother's side is liberal, father's side was conservative but now more mixed.

If it was anyone else,they'd be dead set against them. But it's Trump, so they think he gets a free pass.

I'm just thankful that my family generally isn't too political so it only comes up occasionally. But the amount of undying support they have for Trump is kind of shocking. Mom especially for some reason, she despises when people speak out against him.

I mean, I can understand being duped in 2016. But not now.

My cousin and his wife in Texas always vote Republican but Im not sure how they feel about Trump himself. I know she hates Cruz for what its worth.

It feels like you have to walk on eggshells in every situation to avoid setting them off.

I'm Canadian, so thankfully not. If I was American and had family that supported Trump, I would have no qualms about cutting them out of my life entirely.

To my knowledge, I have one aunt who is incredibly on board with Trump. Its a sad story all around because she got hurt and had to start taking OC. Then she got super addicted and she was never the same. It sucks because she was really nice to me as a kid and she was pretty much my moms sister.

I think the drugs caused her to divorce and I also think her son has to keep his distance, which sucks because he was adopted and his family fell apart. Then she basically started making horrible social media posts that my family members saw and I think she carried on through the covid and the insurrection.

None of my family. But I had a female friend that supports Trump and said she will vote for him again.

At some point we posted on FB that if any of our family posted Trump/QAnon bullshit that we were immediately blocking them
