I have a huge backlog. I can wait 6 months to a year.

But I feel I need to vote with my wallet and tell Larian Studios and jealous AAA studios that I value good, complete games that respect the players. So I bought the game and bonus at full price.

Same here, though I feel that on average I have to wait a lot longer than a year before it actually goes on a real discount (as opposed to like $5-10 off).

Same here. I might buy 1 or 2 games at full price in a year. My biggest problem is wanting to replay games so often, so between that and the backlog it's rare for a new release to jump to the front of the line.

50% discount myself and under 10$ to qualify as a game candidate.

though black friday i may take advantage of the buy 2 get 1 promotion (have to wait and see).

The magic number for me is about $15. If it's more than that, I have to really want it.

Same I havent bought a game on release in a decade and I just wait for DLC and crap to release but I just bought Baldurs Gate 3

I mostly do the same, although I will do 1-2 full priced games a year that I am really excited about and want to play immediately.

This year, Spider-Man 2 is the only game I plan to pay full price for. Starfield would also fall into that category if I did not have Gamepass.

So, you pretty much never buy first party Nintendo games, huh?

and i can't remember the last nintendo game i paid for. i've gotta a couple gifts over the years but i don't buy them, not worth it. i rarely play the switch anyway.
