Yeah. Season 1 is a bit slow, but season 2 picks up and is more serialized. Season 3 is good, don't get me wrong, but largely due to things that happened in the S2 finale, they really dialed back on a lot of the darker and more serious elements. Still a good season overall, but the series penultimate episode and finale really do an amazing job of carrying the season and putting in nearly on par with S2 for me. Overall I still prefer The Owl House, but Amphibia is great too, and call it controversial, but I still put it slightly above Gravity Falls. GF is I would say overall more consistent in episode quality, and Amphibia definitely has lower low points, but fuck when it is at it's best it's amazing and is on par with TOH at it's best. I just like TOH's more serialized and 22 minute format over Amphibia's mostly two eleven minute episode format. I also prefer it's darker and overall more serious tone. I really should have tried to get back into some of what they are doing over there with big D. I got too tired of CN dying and the rest of the so forth that I missed some recent and actually good stuff. Gravity Falls was basically fighting Lovecraft's worst dreams, while dancing just enough. Occasionally, literally. Disney, or at least XD/formerly Toon Disney seems to be the place now to start a show as one thing and build it up to another. --- I am the Hunter of Topics.
