So I was doing some research, which led me to one of those 'x' sites, and I get hit with this:

You must be 18+ to access [redacted]
In order to comply with Mississippi law, we have implemented a procedure to verify the age of users accessing our website from Mississippi.

  • Prepare a device with a camera to start age estimation
  • Verification is carried out by a 3rd party service provider
  • This process is highly secure and takes less than 1 minute


I don't even live in Mississippi, though I guess Memphis is close enough.

Yeah it sucks, but most of what I go to bypass it. Try Opera browser. It has a built in VPN.

And add this to the giant list of why conservatives suck. They can't but help but to force their bullshit puritan rules on everyone.
