The other day, I woke up early. When I looked at the clock again, I wasn't sure if I had gotten back to sleep or not until I realized that I'd been having a conversation with the protagonist of my story a few minutes before.

Last night, I had a dream that a pack of sapient wolves came howling and wanted me to join their pack. I could transform and become one of them if I agreed to take a lady wolf as my own. I didn't necessarily agree or disagree. They were offering me a chance to become one of them knew my writing was sympathetic to wolves. I thought it was ironic because, if if I took them up on their offer to become a wolf, I would never get a chance to write my story which might help with their reputation.
