Best scene in the movie.

The Lone Ranger is the only masked hero who could have believably maintained a secret identity. He lived in a time before security cameras and he drifted from town to town wearing different disguises. (Bearded old man, one-eyed outlaw, mustached southern gentleman, etc.)

Even in the 1940s, it wouldn't have taken long for people to have figured out Batman, Superman, etc. And, yes, Superman has powers of hypnotism. It still wouldn't work against photography.

The real Batman has special lenses that obscure his eyes and provide him with all kinds of relevant data. I don't care what any of these fake Batmen say.

I understand the technology behind it, but it still looks goofy that the 'eyes' express emotion (grow bigger or smaller depending on the emotion), same with Spiderman.

Real talk: facial recognition has developed to the point that it only needs the top half of your face (specifically your eyes and brow) to make a positive match, so wearing a bandana over your nose and mouth is not going to protect your identity from those who want to know who you are anymore.

In my story the hero covers his whole face because the pandemic showed me half mask don't protect anything.

And really Batgirl in half her outfits. The eye holes are so big its like she isn't wear any thing. And the domino mask is worst then glasses.

The Green Lantern is a terrible movie, but there is one funny scene where his love interest immediately recognizes him and says hiding his cheekbones with a domino mask is not going to disguise yourself from someone who's known you since you were five.

Everything about Batman lore is just exhausting. Dude has more excuses than Superman for how badly he is overpowered.

I dunno about that, when my dad shaved his mustache I didn't even recognize him when he came to pick us up from the airport, took me a sec. Could totally see that being true for dominoes and masks
