It wasnt until I grew up that I learned the sheer star power behind that movie. Pretty much everyone is voiced by a big name actor.

For better or worse. Dreamworks might be responsible for setting the trend of using big name celebrities to voice animated movie characters instead of using professional voice actors.

Might have been interesting if they had done sequels based on other Jewish mythology characters

Like one about Samson, or King Solomon. Imagine a Solomon movie that shows him working with those spirits or demons or whatever that he writes a contract with in the bible

Yeah, it can be hit and miss. Voice actors tend to get treated like shit. See: The way Konami (#FucKonami) treated David Hayter before eventually ditching him for Kiefer Sutherland.
