For the first 15 minutes I was kind of wondering, and then I just got sucked in. I loved absolutely everything about it, even as an adult viewer. I gather that is not a particularly common view. The depressed Luma and the super cute penguins were just the best.

Rosalina in the sequel probably, I like how yoshi just turned bowser into an egg lol

Eh, I thought it was decently good. The movie definitely could've used a bit more meat in the story/development department and the few licensed songs here and there were a bit out of place (especially Bonnie Taylor's Holding Out for a Hero and A-Ha's Take On Me), but on the flipside it was just simple fun and it definitely gave me that "Disney" movie that Disney themselves couldn't provide me since...I dunno, Zootopia.

It was pretty fun. Wouldn't say I loved it, but it was still a really enjoyable nostalgia romp.

I absolutely loved it. My only complaint was that Princess Peach was way too OP. I think it made perfect sense for her to train Mario because she did live in that world all her life and it was completely strange to Mario, but at some point I was like why is Mario even the hero of the movie if Peach is completely flawless at everything. But, that's a minor complaint, I had so much fun watching it.
