Strong enough to blow over that steeple. That's about the craziest thing I saw. Rest of it was snapped/uprooted tress.

Hey neighbor Yeah it was gnarly, wr were without power for about 12 hours. I hate that some folks could be without power for another 48 hours with this heat.

Same, power was out from 12 am to about 2 PM. Storm didn't even sound that bad from inside but the devastation it caused outside was pretty crazy.

Damn that's a brutal time to lose power...if that happened to me I would call in sick because I couldn't sleep that hot.

Same. Assuming KS/MO? Took down multiple trees, powerlines and poles in my city. Had so many calls on things in the roadway, as well as accidents of people hitting downed lines and trees. 1700 outages at one point. 80 MPH wind gusts; at one point, they actually blew open the two sets of lobby doors where I work.

I didn't sleep at all last night, too warm. Work wasn't really an issue though because I work from home and didn't really need to do anything today. My work laptop had enough charge to last until about 1 PM. I just used a hotspot off my phone for internet access.

Yeah, southwest Missouri in Ozark. Little town south of Springfield. I've been hearing that power is out all around me. Mine never went out. Some at&t customers are without home internet or phone service still. According to the news the road outside the recycling center in the next town over is backed up and barely moving.

I had heard about the steeple, and it kinda surprised me. I didn't think there was all that much wind involved with it.

I know a bunch of people in the city lost power.

Im the same way, but fortunately I keep the house at 68 this time of year, and my saint of a wife went to the garage and got out our battery powered fans we use for camping. We might have had a small twister but the news didn't mention shit about the damage in our area

Most of my city was without power last night except my little neighborhood. I slept through the night like a baby. Lucky us.

I stayed up to wait it out just in case there were any twister warnings but I watched the radar and there was no rotation or hook echoes.
