ultimate_reaver 07/30/23 4:29:38 PM #8:	the original interpretation of cloud was pretty fun and while there was some failings here and there in the more convoluted parts of the game, I really liked the idea of a guy acting edgy and cool slowly accepting the fact that he's just a heroic goofball and has dispensed with all the edgy emo act by the end of the game. Every subsequent portrayal of Cloud has him acting even more mopey and depressed than he does at the beginning of FF7 at his worst, which is really overrated because people love generic emo anime guys but has also really fucked up the character. I have talked to multiple people that think that that was all Cloud ever was and I honestly can't blame them at this point. --- I pray god will curse the writer, as the writer has cursed the world with this beautiful, stupendous creation, terrible in its simplicity, irresistible in truth <cite>ultimate_reaver posted [p:975157763] in Is Cloud S... Of the characters around the time Cloud's game got released he is easily the best. Like others have said, my impression from nerd pop culture and Kingdom Hearts made me think he was this edgy, brooding sad sack.
