It was pretty good. Solid 7/10 horror movie. A bunch of people online were saying it was one of the scariest movies ever. It definitely was not. But the twist on the possession genre was cool. Well paced and had some pretty brutal scenes.

I don't go to the theater much anymore, but I'll probably watch that when its on streaming. I've been seeing so many ads for it on YouTube

I give it at least an 8/10. It's an original horror film with great acting, story, and pacing, and doesn't rely on cheap jump scares that plague supernatural horror movies these days.

I definitely appreciate the originality and how believable the premise was. As in, it was believable that these kids were doing this dumb shit instead of just doing dumb shit to do dumb shit lol

Also the guys who made this movie are making the Street Fighter movie. Weird af pivot but it could be interesting.

Another weird fun fact is that the guys behind this are straight up youtubers. Their YT page is RackaRacka.

Just finished it. Really expected something scary. I think 7/10 is perfect for this movie

The Dead Hand Challenge is absolutely a thing somewhere but really no different than the quija phenomenon.
I dug the movie, it just wasn't scary or shocking as Hereditary which is still the gold standard for those A24 horror films.
