Should be no reason you wait an hour and a half after your appointment time to see a doctor.

Like goddamn I woulda just came back another day.

Most places in general need to be more firm with their time slots. Now some places have a policy where you have to pay a late fee if youre not on time. Okay, what percentage of my bill are you going to take off when YOURE late?

The best is when you book the first appointment of the day and they STILL make you wait a half hour

In addition to this, some appointments take longer than expected. I appreciate the doctors who take the time to actually talk with their patients and don't make baseless presumptions on someone's symptoms. My SO's cancer went unnoticed for 10 months because her doctor wouldn't do scans on her and just told her to take pain pills.

This is what my PCP does, and I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Although I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes at my optometrist, neurologist, pulmonologist, or dentist. Living in a small place like Hawaii has some benefits I guess :D

Oh, my ophthalmologist takes a while, but that's because the only time I see him is to check how my eyes are doing after the surgery, so they have to dilate them every time...
