Haters gonna hate.

This game was fantastic. The dragon transformation you got was op as fuck so you had to challenge yourself not to use it for the whole game. If you used it too much you wouldn't have any juice left for the final boss.

It made things much more interesting than previous games where the best strategy was to dragon immediately in every fight.

It's also got the best story in the series. It's admittedly got a weird interpretation of Nina but she was a great character regardless.

The only real bad thing about the game is that there's not enough party members. They should have added 2 more characters.

BOF5 was utterly trashed and was reason why BOF series are no longer to make new one.

It didn't feel like a BOF game.

It's a case of being too different or lacking a significant gameplay element of its predecessor, and players holding it to that. The same way everyone shits on Actraiser 2 despite being one of the best action sidescrollers on the console.

LMAO. That's even worse than BOF5 while it's MMORPG rather than JRPG. It took only 2 months to kill BOF6.

The game actually was online for years it was just so terrible that I'm pretty sure the reason it lasted as long as it did is because they forgot to turn off the servers.

I kinda feel the same way about Deus Ex Invisible War.

It's a great first person shooter on its own.
