I love Romance of the Three Kingdoms and the history attached to it, so I was absolutely stoked to play the demo...and I was glad I did instead of buying the full game. The first boss being defeatable only by parrying brought back to me Sekiro PTSD and I just could not do it. I've been told that the first boss is really hard for a first boss and that parrying isn't required for every boss/enemy, but that's not what the demo showcased to me. Why would you make such a difficult boss the first boss if you're trying to get more people to buy your game? Poor design choice. Nothing frustrates me into controller-breaking rage more than parrying mechanics. Want me to forsake your game forever? Make it required for progression instead of just a cool counter ability you can use on your own time. Otherwise, I just won't even bother, even if it's from a setting I love. --- This rant was brought to you by your local random thinker. Are you me? I just wanted my fun ROTK non-warriors action game and what I got was running around until the boss did a super I could parry so I could safely hit it. Didn't buy the full game after playing the demo. ... Copied to Clipboard!

tbh I did play sekiro and I didnt parrt much so this does nto deter me until I actually play the game. That said, Sekiro is not very enjoyable in my playstyle, the bosses took very, very long to kill with dodging and hp damage instead of posture damage. --- "Warwick are you jungling" "No I'm standing by the wolves because I miss my family" ... Yeah, as someone who loved both nioh games, I was disappointed with this combat system and all the parrying. While there was some parrying in nioh, it was easily ignored. I loved the combat system in nioh. I was hoping wo long would be similar. I am also glad I didn't purchase this game and just played the demo. --- this is the way the world works, if you wanna find some quality friends, you gotta wade through all the dicks first... ...
