avatar has new movies in the works

I don't think that's the issue, lol.

The issue is that this is being marketed toward Smash Bros. players, and most of those are millennials.

I did specify "until a new series comes out," which counts for movies, too. And Avatar remains a nostalgic property for millennials more than a new and relevant thing for younger kids.

True, and they can enjoy the 87 designs of the ninja turtles, as well. Don't forget that there was a series starting in 2003 that basically featured barely-updated versions of the classic designs.

The first major TMNT redesign didn't happen until 2012 and the existing fandom didn't love the new designs.

Why does it matter if we were the target demographic if we were the ones watching it? Millennials who watched Avatar can still have nostalgia for Avatar, so it makes sense to include them in a game that's catering pretty clearly to that age group.

This may shock you but millennials weren't the target demographic for My Little Pony, either.

Episodes like that are way, way more fun when it's the voice actors playing the other's role. Another great example is the Justice League episode where Luthor switches with The Flash:

I dont want to spoil it too much, but basically we have a main storyline and you start with SpongeBob. As you progress, you unlock characters which you can use in the campaign, and each character has his/her unique story lines. The structure is the same on roguelike games you progress through a series of battles, and if you lose, you keep some of your progress (characters unlocked, currencies, etc.) and use it to further your progress on your next try until you reach the end. And of course, in the middle we have cool opponents, bosses and other elements unique to the campaign.

And ALL characters have voice acting as well.

before that was the last Airbender in 2008.

Tbh Nick hasn't released a single great cartoon show since the loud house way back in 2016, and before that was the last Airbender in 2008.

They rode a single shows coattails(sponegebob), for far to and these are the long term consequences of that. A complete inability to attract a wide range of younger audiances.

CN did the exact same with TTG. And while they released more original shows many of them were just gimped by the 15min cap, and relocated to a shitty timeslot to eventually die.

ESPECIALLY the action shows.

Facts, now Adult Swim is picking up the slack of CN by playing real action shows like Superman and Unicorn Warriors along with their original programming while the main network just recycles the same 3 shows (TTG, Craig and Gumball)

DC seems to be the only cartoon channel that actually tries these days, both original shows like TOH and Moon Girl slap plus their acquired content has their audience aswell like Bluey and Miraculous Ladybug, it's same DXD dropped in quality tho now its purely used for reruns of its much more popular counterpart

i will say this on the off chance they add karai (i know she was not in the 87 show but they could make a version of her to fit the style) i would get it for that as karai is my fave character in the franchise lol

The 87 cartoon had Lotus Blossom, who was similar to Karai in that she was a kunoichi working for the foot that had a thing for Leo

Granted she only showed up in like two or three episodes, but if they wanted a Karai-like character she's right there

I completely forgot to consider it but No, I consider Korra its own thing, and by itself is barely good in my opinion. Due to its inconsistencys in quality across all seasons.

Not saying it's bad but compared to the other shows on its own it just can't compete, and is carried to hard by the TLAB.

But regardless its cost them alot more in the long run.
