I'll be honest, those in this topic who are doing so actually make this hearing more credible in my eyes by doing so.

You've got one poster who acts as almost exclusively as a mainstream news aggregate website and might not actually exist outside of such a purpose and another one who seemingly takes anything that they don't personally ascribe to as an attack on their very existence. They're like the Monty Hall problem of posters. I was firmly on the "Aliens don't exist" door but having read through the topic and seeing them hovering near door #1 I'm switching to door 2 or 3.

None of this logic makes any sense at all.

It's pointless. None of them even understand what the hearing was for in the first place. Literally in probably the first 5min of the hearing they made sure to establish that they weren't going to be rolling out aliens and inviting them to the podium.

The purpose of the the hearing was to testify under oath to Congress so Congress can follow up and/or offer protections when investigating the claims. Any evidence or info that can't just be blurted out on national or even global television can/will be distributed to Congress in a SCIF. They literally mentioned it 100x in the hearing.

And yet people really thought they were going to pull out a body for the whole world to see and calling it a waste since they didn't. Interesting how it's all the deniers who've managed to not understand anything at all.

The skeptic narrative wholly depends on:
- all of the witnesses being liars/grifters while under oath for no reason other than shits and giggles.
- the entire US House, Senate, DOD, IG office, etc., etc. who are taking it seriously being comprised of morons who don't realize it's fake.
- all of the pilots and high-ranking officers and officials with decades of experience and knowledge simply not understanding that they only saw a balloon or drone.
- the government trying to distract the public from "what's REALLY going on"
- all of the global sightings just being fake.
- Random skeptic/deniers with no experience or credentials knowing "what's REALLY going on".

The UAP narrative is wholly dependent on:
- Congress investigating the claims and finding out they're really true.

I absolutely love stories of people seeing UAPs and imagining what they actually are, there are some alien abduction stories where I genmuinely believe that something happened to them (The Barney and Betty Hill Incident for one) but I'm reasonably certain it wasn't aliens.

I think aliens do exist somewhere out in the universe, but I seriously doubt they've visited Earth.

Not really necessary to overcome. Going at 99% of the speed of light would slow down the time the crew faces to about 30 years for a 200 light year trip.

It's not really viable since everything outside the ship would experience the full 200 years, but we don't know how aliens would react to those time periods.

I don't think they wasted time coming here, but it's not actually that impossible.
