the real irony here is the detractors in this thread seem to think aliens 100% exist like AceMos and I don't even believe that

yet constantly they want to paint me as a UFO chaser, when I am more skeptical than they are

so sad

like I said from the beginning, I just found it interesting to see Congress taking it seriously and it is something to keep an eye on cause you never know what is the motivation behind it all

if Grush is full of it, they should find out.
if there is some truth to be uncovered we might see

You can't be too upset that people have already made up their minds. People lie, some people are crazy. That post I told you about the fake switch 2. Someone took probably their entire weekend to fool someone. What I am saying is some people will go to a very far extent and lie for so long.

I won't say he is lying or not but I will say this time and time again we seen a bunch of hoaxes everywhere, and the people here are tired of the schtick and they have every right to jump to a conclusion.

Looks like the thread's about to go off again but I wanted to post this.

AOC gives an update about her thoughts post-hearing. Not necessarily about UAP but the private contractors and her suspicions, and how the problem with them connects to the context of the hearing. Very good levelheaded, neutral take.

Go for it AOC. UAP or not, that missing money flow needs to be investigated

So AOC questioned defense contractors and found out they hiding stuff.

One line she questioned them resulted in 10 of millions from 1 contractor getting returned to the public because of corruption.

Her opinion is that is one of the themes of this hearing. One witness called out Boeing specifically. Another called about abuse of a program and misappropriations.

She is always interested in corruption and coverups.

For people who say we need to worry about rent and healthcare not this stuff

People who keep saying it could be some dead animals are wrong. Grusch said nonhuman biologics, which are engineered or manufactured complex chains of molecules. Nonhuman meaning it was not manufactured or engineered by us. So I wouldnt be giving much weight to the words of low information skeptics with low credibility on this topic.
This post is ironic in how much low information and credibility it shows to blindly believe hearsay because you heard it at a congressional hearing.

"Totally believe me bro" is not proof.
There's no proof this nonhuman biological exists.
There's no proof if it does exists, that it's alien or whatever sci-fi thing you want it to be just because you want it to be.

Asking for an "investigation" at a congressional hearing doesn't give the extraordinary claim validity. Regardless how much conspiracy fanatics want there dream to become a reality. It's not onus is not on the skeptics to prove the whistleblowers didn't have Hylians.

Nothing is credible about the hearing or the pilots just because you want their claims to be true.

In fact, your definition of credible appears to be blind faith as no actual proof has been provided. It's no different than any other "credible" group believing in unsubstantiated claims.

It's pretty pointless to debate on the credibility of an accusation when the investigation hasn't finished.

It's like if a stated credible witness accuses someone of doing something unbelievable, but can't provide any evidence that the person actually did it. There's a thread on GameFAQs. Everyone on both sides is debating whether the person actually did the crime or if the credible accuser is actually lying, while the actual investigation hasn't even concluded. It could ultimately be found that the unbelievable crime actually did happen, or that the accuser was lying.

In the end, debating something at the allegation stage, especially when no evidence of innocence or guilt is provided, is a waste of time and all comes down to what each spectator (people like us) to decides to believe. Allegations without evidence happen A LOT, but the allegations are simply meant to spark the investigations that can ultimately find out what's going on.

TL;DR: Just wait until the investigation ends

This meme has been spread around a lot and has been proven to be extremely disingenuous. The map display represents UFO sightings reported specifically to a company based in the U.S called the National UFO Reporting Center:
https://nuforc.org/

So the U.S will be the biggest hotspot for reported sightings to a company that handles sightings in the U.S lol. Even with that knowledge in mind, people who spread that graph are either ignorant best or malicious at worst because if you're even a little bit interested in UFO sightings, you'd know they happen all over the world.

incorrect
the hearing wasn't "are aliens real"
it was he had been retaliated against and was presenting his case to congress as a whistleblower

nothing convenient about being stifled in giving them the direct evidence to that case

but I guess many people don't know the actual purpose of the hearing? cause they just make kneejerks reactions and fail to research?

The TLDR is this is a nothing burger no different than any other wild claims out there.

Investigation happen all the time. Congressional investigation that are complete waste of tax dollars aren't new.

No matter how this waste of tax dollars ends. The investigation can lead to more hearsay (doesn't matter how credible you think the hearsay came from) and or evidence thats laughable quality (like fuzzy video or photos). I have no doubt the tin foil hat types will swear up and down the US government is hiding aliens or whatever sci-fi species they have in mind.

The tinfoil hat types are already having nose bleeds to the unsubstantiated claim of "non human biologicals" which is a great grift with how open ended that phrasing despite what tin foil hat types want it to be.

This grift is a win win for the whistleblowers. All they have to do to not lie is be vague enough to the public that they technically are not lying, but pussyfoot just enough that it plays to the extraterrestrial or nonhuman scifi species types who eat this shit up.

The burden of proof is on them to back their extraordinary claim, but as convenience would have them, they conveniently cant because DoD is blocking them for reasons that likely have nothing to do with their grift.

Good to know about the graph. I know sightings happen all over the world, and obviously one graph couldn't account for all of them, anyway. I think the point of it is as a pushback to the US's present infatuation with it in regards to the hearings, the distraction from important issues, and all that. In that context, I'll stick with the "aliens are bullshit" line.

The second part of my post still stands.

I find the topic very fascinating myself. If the government is hiding UAP vehicles and bodies for decades, the public has a right to know and they should let more scientists study these things instead of keeping it in the hands of a very small select few private contractors.

I remain in the position that I will believe it when I see it, while also believing David Fravor and Alex Dietrich. They are highly credible individuals and to me, it is very unusual the government puts a lot of effort into suppressing information about UAP. I also don't believe the government or military, or anyone else on earth, has had access to this kind of advanced tech for decades.

I'm not sure what to make of Grusch yet, although his credentials do speak for themselves. Maybe he was roped into government disinformation.
