AOC gives an update about her thoughts post-hearing. Not necessarily about UAP but the private contractors and her suspicions, and how the problem with them connects to the context of the hearing. Very good levelheaded, neutral take.

So AOC questioned defense contractors and found out they hiding stuff.

One line she questioned them resulted in 10 of millions from 1 contractor getting returned to the public because of corruption.

Her opinion is that is one of the themes of this hearing. One witness called out Boeing specifically. Another called about abuse of a program and misappropriations.

She is always interested in corruption and coverups.

For people who say we need to worry about rent and healthcare not this stuff

For the record, I said no such thing. I stuck to there has been no proof no extraterrestrial, alien, or whatever sci-fi species on the planet people are conjuring up exist here on earth. The whistleblowers blowers did not provide anything in the hearing but useless hearsay and convenient reasons why they totally needed a congressional hearing but conveniently cant provide proof and conveniently likely never will. Its equivalent to any other conspiracy theorists who claim they say BigFoot or ghosts.

It's pretty pointless to debate on the credibility of an accusation when the investigation hasn't finished.

It's like if a stated credible witness accuses someone of doing something unbelievable, but can't provide any evidence that the person actually did it. There's a thread on GameFAQs. Everyone on both sides is debating whether the person actually did the crime or if the credible accuser is actually lying, while the actual investigation hasn't even concluded. It could ultimately be found that the unbelievable crime actually did happen, or that the accuser was lying.

In the end, debating something at the allegation stage, especially when no evidence of innocence or guilt is provided, is a waste of time and all comes down to what each spectator (people like us) to decides to believe. Allegations without evidence happen A LOT, but the allegations are simply meant to spark the investigations that can ultimately find out what's going on.

TL;DR: Just wait until the investigation ends

Good to know about the graph. I know sightings happen all over the world, and obviously one graph couldn't account for all of them, anyway. I think the point of it is as a pushback to the US's present infatuation with it in regards to the hearings, the distraction from important issues, and all that. In that context, I'll stick with the "aliens are bullshit" line.

Would be nice if people would actually watch the hearings. A major part revolves around substantial waste of taxpayer funds. Hundreds of billions of tax dollars are going to these private contractors.

I find the topic very fascinating myself. If the government is hiding UAP vehicles and bodies for decades, the public has a right to know and they should let more scientists study these things instead of keeping it in the hands of a very small select few private contractors.

I remain in the position that I will believe it when I see it, while also believing David Fravor and Alex Dietrich. They are highly credible individuals and to me, it is very unusual the government puts a lot of effort into suppressing information about UAP. I also don't believe the government or military, or anyone else on earth, has had access to this kind of advanced tech for decades.

I'm not sure what to make of Grusch yet, although his credentials do speak for themselves. Maybe he was roped into government disinformation.
