Maybe its time for Biden to send in federal troops to impose a constitutional electoral map and the enforce democracy by escorting the elected mayor to his office and arresting all people who obstruct under federal sedition charges and obstruction charges. Also both senators and and republican house reps must be barred from the capitol building not allowing them to vote until this is resolved. This would also help the military promotion advance finally. Place the state under federal occupation while this is all being corrected.

We never should have used soft gloves on the confederacy post Civil War. Were I president at the time, I'd have stripped citizenship rights from every white Southerner. And all states that had rebelled, would be reverted back to territories. These actions would not be undone for 100 years

We might not be in the situation we now are, if this had happened

oh and all higher ups of the confederacy would go to prison for Life. Soldiers lose any land they own

Yup we went far too easy on the south. Lincoln with his "malice towards none" speech meant well but was naive. The south should have been punished. Stripped of statehood is a good start.

Lee, Davis, Stevens and the rest if the confederate military leadership should have been tried and convicted of treason and hanged. Pardoning them was a giant mistake.

You know very well those things would cause a lot of violence. Possibly even an uprising.
It would also make Biden appear like a dictator\tyrant ruler in the upcoming election.
This won't help him , as most democrats are smart enough to be aware of the fallout this would cause.
It would only hurt his chances with the fencers and swing voters who would have more reason to believe both parties are just as bad.

I am saying don't throw the first rock...
If Republicans want Civil war, it's only a matter of time before they get it, based on the actions of the supreme court.
Heck your dream might come true at the end of next year when the Supreme Court decides to let states choose their own electors.
