They're suspecting he died of heat stroke. This is sad, man. A bunch of police were right down the street and multiple family members were outside the house consoling each other.

Ya, people need to realize that things change when the weather is extreme.
It can cost you significant health risks.

Learn to flex, all is not usual in extreme weather.

People are rather disconnected nowadays though.

I like to run in the morning before it gets too hot.

Where do you live and what time was he running?

What was the temperature outside ? I try not to run if 85F or higher

I took a 15 minute walk yesterday and now my hairline is on fire and I'm all red, it's brutal out there

When its that hot out I stay in and get on my spin cycle with the AC and a fan on me. Spent too many years working outdoors in summer heat like that to ever want to exert myself in it again.

I was taking my trash bin from the back of the house to the curb in the middle of the day a few weeks ago. I had the idea that I would pull up weeds along the way to do two things at once. I moved the bin a little bit and pulled up weeds in the area. Moved the bin a little more and pulled up more weeds. Before I knew it, about 30 minutes had passed in 105 degree weather. I felt like shit and came back inside to cool off.

I believe it. I work in an unairconditioned factory, we've got fan but they only do so much above 90 degrees. We've got new hires being treated for heat stroke daily, it's awful.

I usually wait until about 7:30/8:00 PM to go for a 30-45 minute walk. It's still been humid lately but not as hot and you don't have to worry about sunburn. My neighborhood is a giant maze so I've found multiple routes to walk.

Also, regarding the man who passed, that's awful, especially for his family.

that really sucks.

A lot of people don't know climate change exist. They can't conceived of it or they think it is fake.

That shit should require hazard pay, full ride healthcare and super frequent breaks.

Water readily availble at all times.

Austin's had 4 heat-related deaths in 5 days. Mostly homeless people living outside.

In respect, I won't run today.

RIP. Usually wait until evening to go on my 5 mile daily hike. Got caught in a thunderstorm with a seemingly torrential downpour last night and I got completely drenched.
