Especially in cars.

Leather seats absolutely nuke your skin in the summer and then they barely warm up from your body heat in the winter, like sitting on an ice block. They cost more money and they're harder to repair.

Cloth also has better airflow, so that regardless of temperature, you aren't getting sweaty from lack of air flow (condensation).

Strong agree, and it's frustrating how most people I've talked to about it are pro-leather. How can you possibly like them? Cloth is superior in every conceivable way, AND cheaper!

I've learned taht its better just to park in a parking garage if you can, that way teh cooler air escapes slower without being warmed up by sunlight as much
at least that's how I interpreted the physics when I figured that out

They are more comfortable, but harder to clean.

leather doesn't even feel good lol, the leather used in cars feels like a worse vinyl plether.

Leather is easier to clean and generally looks better, not that I really care one way or the other, I've had both and they both have their pros and cons

Leather feels nicer than cloth when a car is brand new. But unless you keep applying conditioner constantly, it eventually gets stiff and cracks.
