Her tweeting that doesn't mean she isn't being railroaded. She's just not going to publicly tell Elon that he's a fucking moron and making her job yet again much more difficult.

He's really just destroying her career, she clearly has no real power and just does whatever Elon says.

She was clearly hired just to be a glorified PR person every time Elon does something dumb.

I mean he did mention making this a part of his "X" platform and she was very aware of this when she went through the hiring process considering he publicly mentioned it before. This won't destroy her career, she has a lot of connections in the advertising space which is why he hired her to hopefully bring back advertisers to the platform that he alienated. I don't think they will recover all of them, and Meta launching Threads will be an additional challenge.

You don't have to pay a graphic design team to make your logo a letter. (You probably do have to pay a license fee for using the font, but it's hardly the first bill Twitter just hasn't paid.)

It's not sexist at all considering you're the one who inserted the pretty woman with no talent bit.

This looks bad on her specifically because it's obvious she has no real power, Elon is still the CEO in all but name. Blame Elon for not giving her free reign. This is absolutely damaging to her, he's destroying the company and it's pretty clear that she's not allowed to actually try to right the ship.

I didn't say one single word to imply that she's "a pretty woman with no talent." I didn't say anything about her abilities or appearance whatsoever. But the fact is that she's been allowed to do absolutely nothing as CEO of Twitter other than act as a mouthpiece for Musk, who's still running the company into the ground single-handedly and making every single decision.

Musk never wanted anybody else to be CEO, and he only hired her because of that poll where the majority of the userbase said they wanted him to step down. Now he can say "I'm not CEO, she is" and continue doing whatever he wants because, hey, he's not calling himself the CEO anymore.

She was hired to be a PR person and a scapegoat for when things go bad. Has absolutely nothing to do with her gender, appearance, or actual ability in the field.

My theory is that he grew up rich and confused this with being smart and business savvy.

Elon Musk is a guy who thinks he's more smart than the people he invests in. That the person who gives the capital to make a business possible deserves all of the credit.

The guy has literally been wanting to buy a company and rebrand it as X for at least two decades.
