Never finished it either since there's about 70+ episodes of filler in the middle of the show's run. I got to around episode 100 or something and just gave up.

I loved Ranma and I'd say it's still one of my favorite anime series, so when Inuyasha was announced, I bought the first issue, but it just didn't grip me and I didn't bother buying any more of them. When the anime came out, I watched it on Adult Swim like so many others, but it just didn't do much for me. Despite that, I still watched as many episodes as I could before eventually not having cable anymore. It was "meh" at best for me, which made me sad since I like (what little I saw of) Urusei Yatsura and the Mermaid's Scar/Forest OVAs. Mermaid's Scar is one reason I have an irrational fear of piano wire.

inuyasha should get a remake.

  • manga art style
  • shortened to three seasons
  • all filler cut


plus the anime just did really stupid shit sometimes. remember the episode early on about the spider-heads? anime butchered the shit out of that. read it in the manga and it's just so much better it's crazy. why did the temple explode in the anime? i don't get it man.
